Hi, I'm Jamie Sura, owner of Fitness Central.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and received my Paramedic Certificate in 2000.

While I played 4 high school sports and have exercised outdoors my whole life, my fitness story changed in 2011 when my brother died of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at the age of 41.   

Personal training with a friend, I became aware of so much positive energy in our town. It motivated me to contain all that positive energy into one awesome all-inclusive fitness facility.

My husband, children, and I renovated this historic building on Main Street in 2014.  We opened the doors in January 2015 and signed up 80 members in one day!  In the last 9 years, we have sold over 3500 access key FOBs.  We maintain 200-500 members annually with a daily attendance average of nearly 100 people. 

Our greatest pride is our dedicated, diverse, and yet changing staff.  Every year we employ motivated high school students for afternoon shifts.  They along with daytime staff bring a warm welcome, a good laugh, the cleanest facility, and constant care.
